 The Southwest Washington Nurse Honor Guard is a group of dedicated nurses united by a shared commitment to honoring our colleagues with dignity, gratitude, and respect at the close of their life's journey.  Through our ceremonies, we recognize a lifetime of compassionate service and offer comfort to the families they leave behind.

Serving with the Nurse Honor Guard is a meaningful way to give back to the nursing profession while preserving a tradition that ensures no nurse's legacy goes unrecognized. Whether you are actively practicing or enjoying retirement, your presence helps us provide one final tribute from one nurse to another.

• Be a licensed or retired nurse.
• Treat every family with compassion, dignity, and respect.
• Represent the Southwest Washington Nurse Honor Guard with professionalism and integrity.
• Participate in orientation and learn our ceremonial traditions.
• Serve as your schedule allows—there is no minimum time commitment.
• Help preserve the mission and values of the Nurse Honor Guard.
